For years, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Carson City has kicked off the season with their Annual Holiday Bazaar. 2023 Is no exception.
The tradition of making items to sell has been a part of the church’s DNA since the early years. In December of 1898, the church rubric (newsletter) reported the success of The Ladies’ Guild from St. Peter’s who organized an Apron Sale. The aprons and other articles were collected and sold as a fundraiser for the church. The women of St. Peter’s have continued this tradition into the modern day as they host the annual bazaar.
The family at St. Peter’s invites you to join us for a day of shopping. You’ll find unique treasures that will satisfy your holiday gift-giving needs, from hand knit scarves to homemade jams and everything in between. To enhance your shopping experience, there will be live music featuring local artists.
St. Peter’s Holiday Bazaar will be open on Nov. 11, 2023 in the parish hall located at 314 N Division St. The sale runs from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Cash or check only. Please use the Telegraph Street entrance.
And if shopping at St. Peter’s isn’t enough, make sure to visit First United Methodist Church next door for their Holiday Craft Faire from 9am-2pm, with a soup lunch from 11am-1pm
