Carson City Sheriff’s Office Youth Cadet to host Nov. 12 pancake breakfast fundraiser
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Youth Cadet program is hosting the 3rd annual pancake breakfast fundraiser. This event will take place Sunday, Nov. 12, 8 a.m. to noon at the Sheriff’s Office Ormsby Room, 911 East Musser Street in Carson City. All proceeds will go to the Cadet program to pay for equipment, uniforms and competitions.
Multiple holiday performances by Carson City Symphony's Youth Chorus begin Sunday
The Symphony Youth Chorus, a tuition-free educational program of the Carson City Symphony Association, is open to children ages 4 to 12 and performs several times a year. Directed by Michelle Powers, the Chorus will present holiday performances in Carson City this year.

The community-driven initiative aims at ensuring all students have access to warm clothing during the cold months.

As a salute to the creativity of the Great Basin Native Artists, the Capital City Arts Initiative is excited to present "It Started with Willows", an assemblage of working baskets and contemporary art.
